The relentless pace of modern life is taking a huge toll on minds and bodies.
In their Award-Winning book, 'Concepts of Fitness', Professors Charles Corbin and Ruth Lindsay have shown the DANGERS of SEDENTARY LIVING.
"Use it or Lose it", is a popular and telling phrase. The body deteriorates from lack of use. This is where the Breathwork comes in. This is what has been practised and taught over the past 50 odd years , with people learning how to make the most of their lung expansion and everyday Breathing Patterns for long, Healthy and Happy living.
Muscles atrophy. Research shows how inactive muscles lose efficiency.
Poor muscle tone is a huge factor in ailing bodies.
Posture and all movements are severely affected.
Tendons lose their elasticity. This makes it hard for joints to work.
Ligaments forfeit their natural strength. Movement can be awkward, difficult, even painful.
